Grey’s Anatomy is one of the longest-running American television series, airing on ABC. Although the much-loved medical drama wrapped up its 19th season on May 18 last year, fans are already waiting with bated breath for the upcoming 20th season. Following the production delay posed by the SAG-AFRA strike in Hollywood, Grey’s Anatomy has finally passed the filming stages. The 20th segment of the show will now premiere on March 14. Amidst the anticipation, ABC recently made another interesting revelation. Jessica Capshaw, who exited the show in the final episode of the 14th season, will be returning as her character Dr Arizona Robbins in the 20th instalment.
According to a report by Variety, at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena on February 10, ABC declared that Jessica Capshaw will be making a guest appearance in Grey’s Anatomy season 20. She will be featured in only one episode. ABC, however, did not unveil the episode where she will make her appearance.

In the Grey’s Anatomy 14th season finale, Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins decided to move to New York City from Seattle, leaving her old life at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. A pediatric-turned-fetal surgeon, she was interested in opening a women’s fetal surgery clinic. Robbins was, however, more driven by the urge to reconcile with her partner Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) and be with their daughter Sofia. Capshaw’s return has gripped fans with excitement, who are eager to learn more about the arc of her career and personal life in the 20th season.
Jessica Capshaw joined Grey’s Anatomy in the 5th season. Reportedly she was supposed to play her part for just three seasons. With viewers appreciating her performance and storyline, the actress not only stayed for the rest of season 5 but was a regular in the following season too. Earlier, in a statement, Capshaw revealed that her character Arizona Robbins was one of the first lesbian characters in a leading role on a television channel. “Her impact on the world is forever,” she said back then, cited Variety.

Landi departed from Grey’s Anatomy in season 15. Newcomers Natalie Morales and Freddy Miyares have been roped in to play crucial roles.
