Recently, Kartik Aaryan was spotted on a dinner date with Student of The Year 2 actress Ananya Panday. As soon as the pictures were up, they went viral and social media was abuzz with the rumours of two dating.
Talking about the same, at an interaction with Agenda Aaj Tak, the actor clarified that there's nothing between the two and it was just a casual date. He said, "People say all sorts of things if we have lunch or dinner together. It was just one dinner. I find it strange to read such things about myself."
On Monday, Kartik was spotted spending an evening with Ananya Panday. Post dinner the two were snapped coming out of Soho House in Juhu. It seemed they wanted to stay under the radar. While stepping out of the door and getting into the waiting car, they refused to pose for the paparazzi. They looked unfazed by the attention, and were smiling and chatting as the car zoomed off.
The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor was literally put in the spot some weeks back after Sara’s statement on Karan Johar's chat show. She created quite a buzz when she said that she wants to date Kartik and marry Ranbir Kapoor. Later, Kartik was taken by surprise when he was asked to comment on it. Nonetheless, he handled the questions sportingly, saying he was waiting for Sara to give him her address.
Kartik’s rendezvous with Chunky Panday’s daughter, in the meantime, seemed to be a happy one. Whether there is a project in the pipeline or the meeting was purely personal, we’ll have to wait and see. However, there are reports that Sara and Kartik might come together for Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal sequel. Sara has just made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath, and is awaiting the release of her second film Simmba.
