Housefull 5: Sanjay Dutt Joins Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan's Family Entertainer, Deets Inside

Housefull is one of the most popular movie franchises, and ever since its fifth installment was announced, fans have been eagerly waiting for it. And now, there’s another good news for fans, as producer Sajid Nadiadwala is bringing another exciting announcement of Sanjay Dutt joining the star-studded cast.

The film stars Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Chunky Pandey in key roles. And now, with Sanjay Dutt coming on board with his stellar comedic timing adding to the mix, fans can anticipate even more laughter and entertainment. Scheduled to start filming in the UK in August 2024, this installment promises to be an uproarious adventure.

Sanjay Dutt on the other hand shared, “I’ve known Sajid since his early days as an assistant, and it’s been amazing to see him grow and be one of the finest producers our industry has. I’m thrilled to be working with him again on Housefull 5 and also look forward to many more collaborations with him in the years to come!”

Housefull is also the first Hindi cinema franchise to reach the fifth instalment. All the films that have been released before have been super hits and have done exceptionally well at the box office. Housefull 5 is slated to hit the big screen on June 6, 2025.

The first Housefull movie was released in 2010 and starred Akshay Kumar with Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, and Chunky Panday in the lead. The second movie in the franchise hit theatres in 2012. On the other hand, Housefull 3 and 4 were released in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
