Bhumi Pednekar marked her 35th birthday in style with a double celebration earlier this week. Not only did she party hard with her friends, but also spent her day on sets of Daldal celebrating with the crew. Bhumi shared some snapshots from the day, clearly showing she had a fantastic time. She expressed her gratitude to everyone who joined her and felt thrilled to be working and following her passion on such a special occasion.
In the Instagram carousel she posted, Bhumi Pednekar can be seen joyfully posing in front of a banner that read, “Happy Birthday Bhumi,” adorned with several monochrome movie stills of the actress. Another photo in the post offers a glimpse of her celebration on the Daldal set, where Bhumi cuts a cake as the team cheers and claps for her. Her friends also surprised her with a customised popcorn cake. For her birthday, Bhumi chose to wear a backless short black dress paired with high heels. Expressing her gratitude, Bhumi wrote, “As another year goes by, I’m reminded of how blessed I am. To be surrounded by so much love, to have incredible people by my side, and to pursue a passion. I am truly touched by all your wishes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Bhumi’s sister Samiksha Pednekar commented “Love and only love,” on the post.

Speaking To IANS about how she spent her special day, Bhumi said, “I brought in my birthday on set. I cut my cake at 12 with friends and family and everybody from my set, from my Daldal set and it was incredible because that’s my happy place, and it just felt like the right start to my new year.”
Bhumi Pednekar is set to play a tough cop in the upcoming series Daldal. The series is written by Priya Saggi, Sreekanth Agneeaswaran, Rohan D’Souza, and Hussain Haidry. Based on Vish Dhamija’s second novel, Bhendi Bazaar, Daldal follows DCP Rita Fereira as she searches for a serial killer while dealing with her own past traumas. Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in Bhakshak. In the film, she played the character of Vaishali who was on a mission to seek justice for the murdered impoverished girls. The film was directed by Pulkit and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.
