Sandalwood actor Jaggesh Shivalingappa, popularly known as Jaggesh, has now turned a poet after looking at the old times’ currency. Recently, the actor recalled his old days and wrote a beautiful poem when he saw the currencies like ten paise, five paise, 20 paise, and more. The poem served as a glimpse into his childhood.

In the opening line, he fondly recalls his mother’s frugality, likening her habit of saving food to storing money in pots. He then reflects on the significance of coins, symbolizing his father’s toil and dedication. Each drop of sweat shed by his father served as a testament to his children’s achievements. Jaggesh often reminisces about his father, especially regarding his reaction when Jaggesh expressed his desire to enter the cinema industry. Through this poem, he pays tribute to his father’s influence and support.
Additionally, Jaggesh evokes memories of his grandfather, seeing the coins as a representation of his love and a nostalgic link to childhood. He recalls a childhood vow to attain wealth, spurred on by these coins.
