Ever since his mid-air tiff with Sunil Grover made headlines, standup comedian Kapil Sharma has been facing flak for his unruly behavior. Sharma had allegedly abused Grover, Kiku Sharda, Ali Asgar and Chandana Prabhakar while on a flight back from Australia.
According to Hindustan Times, a source who watched the entire incident, a drunk Kapil not just abused Sunil Grover, but also misbehaved with other members of the team. As the source mentioned, once the cabin crew served food, his team (the cast and crew of The Kapil Sharma Show, who accompanied him to Australia for a performance) began eating. But this didn’t do down well with Kapil, who was still having his drink.
According to a report published in DNA, “Kapil also had to cancel shoots because he couldn’t get big celebrities as guests on his show.”
This was reportedly the reason why he decided to shoot an episode with Naam Shabana stars Taapsee Pannu and Manoj Bajpayee. It has also been reported that Sharma broke down while shooting for the Naam Shabana special episode. As reports suggest, this happened in the presence of the audience and Bollywood guests.
Sharma-Grover’s scuffle hasn’t gone down with producer of the show Preeti Simoes either, who has reportedly quit the show and even deactivated her Twitter account.
Looks like, troubles for Sharma are much severe than we had actually thought!
