Loki New Poster Gives Big Hint About Where Tom Hiddleston's Series is Headed

Marvel’s Wanda Vision might be over but there is no reason for the fans of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to feel low because Loki will be taking center stage in Disney Marvel’s upcoming series of the same name. The series has been in the making for quite some time now and finally, it has a release date. Tom Hiddleston will feature as the titular Norse god of mischief in a timeline created by the events of Avengers: Endgame. The much-awaited series will be coming on Disney’s OTT platform this June according to Marvel’s website.

On Friday, Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson released the first poster of the upcoming series on social media. In the video, Tom says that in the spirit of Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan’s ‘epic team up’ for their Marvel series Falcon and Winter Soldier, he and Owen are releasing the poster of their ‘epic team up’.

Last year, in December MCU, had released an exclusive clip from the Loki series that saw an impressive lineup of actors including Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sasha Lane. The six-episode series is being run by Rick and Morty producer Michael Waldron with Kate Herron as the director.

The show will see Tom playing the titular Norse god of mischief depicting the events that took place by the events of Avengers: Endgame. In the exclusive clip, we see Owen Wilson, playing Mobius talking to Tom in an elevator. Owen appears to look like an interrogating officer while Tom is clearly in some modern shackles. Owen tells Tom that time works differently at TVA. It is not clear what is TVA and it has certainly intrigued the fans.

In the video released on Friday, Owen is seen quite excited to be a part of the MCU as he announces, “That’s right we are a powerful duo from the MCU!” He then looks at Tom and spells out the full form of MCU and Tom is clearly quite amused at Owen’s excitement.
