Amid the ongoing alleged rift between Sonakshi Sinha and Luv Sinha, the actor took to Instagram recently to wish his parents on their anniversary. Luv Sinha shared a photo of him with his parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha and his twin brother Kussh Sinha. However, the photo excluded his sister, Sonakshi.
Sharing the photo, Luv wrote, “Happy anniversary to my amazing parents. We were blessed to have been born as your children, and are grateful for every moment we share with you.” Check out the photo here:
Luv’s omission of Sonakshi comes days after he deleted a post on X about Sonakshi’s father-in-law, Iqbal Ratansi. Luv had shared an excerpt from the article which read, “With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the ‘washing machine’. Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai….” This post has now been deleted from Luv’s X profile.
Sharing this excerpt, Luv added, “The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team.” This post is still visible on his profile.
Later, Luv mentioned on X that his post about Iqbal Ratansi was not his statement but was an excerpt from a news article. He wrote, “The quote that is being incorrectly attributed to me is not my statement, and was written in an article by a senior journalist. The matter is now closed, and I will not be commenting on it any further.”
In a recent interview with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha reflected on the perceived family differences, stating, “Bahaut bade bade crises dekhe hain humne. Aur yeh toh kuch bhi nahin (We have seen many big crises. This is nothing)..” Regarding his son’s absence from Sonakshi’s wedding, the actor emphasized the importance of keeping certain issues private within the family circle. He expressed, “Family matters should stay within the family. Like I said, kaun se parivar mein disagreements nahi hote? (Which family does not have disagreements?) We may disagree and argue on certain issues. But at the end of the day, we are one family. And no one can break us.”
After a seven-year courtship, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal sealed their love with a wedding ceremony on June 23. The intimate registered marriage was succeeded by a lavish reception graced by numerous Bollywood personalities like Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Tabu, as well as Huma Qureshi alongside her brother Saqib Saleem, Aditi Rao Hydari with her fiancé Siddharth, and many others.
