Mira Rajput Cheers Loudest For Shahid Kapoor's Fierce Look From Deva: 'Back In Action'

Shahid Kapoor, who recently entertained audiences in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, is set to take a grittier, more intense role in the film titled Deva. After much anticipation, the actor shared another sneak peek of the film, hinting at a Valentine’s Day release on February 14, 2025, with the tagline “Get ready for a bloody Valentine’s.” In the image, Shahid dons a bulletproof police vest over a t-shirt and jeans, holding a gun and exuding readiness for action. His chiselled physique and fresh short haircut caught everyone’s attention. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement, flooding his comments with praise. However, it was his wife, Mira Rajput, who truly stole the spotlight by sharing Shahid’s look on her Instagram Stories and turning his biggest cheerleader.

“Back in Action,” she wrote while praising Shahid Kapoor’s new role. Directed by Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews, the movie features Shahid alongside Pooja Hegde, Kubbra Sait and Pavail Gulati. While the complete plot is still under wraps, as per the post, the actor seems to be on a mission to take down the villain. While fans are thrilled about his upcoming role, Shahid’s perfect physique is leaving everyone excited.

This isn’t the first time Shahid Kapoor has shared a glimpse of Deva. In October 2023, he announced the project with a stylish photo from the set. In that post, Shahid flaunted his rugged look, dressed in a white shirt and trousers, while holding a gun.

In the previous post, the actor had confirmed that the Deva was initially set to release on October 11, 2024. However, to avoid competing with Suriya and Bobby Deol’s Kanguva and Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina’s Jigra, the makers decided to postpone the release. Now, the Shahid Kapoor starrer is scheduled to hit theatres on Valentine’s weekend. While no Bollywood movie will clash with Kapoor’s film, it will face competition from Hollywood as Anthony Mackie’s Captain America: Brave New World is also expected to release on the same date.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is enjoying some family time with Mira Rajput and their kids, Misha and Zain, at an unknown location. Before Deva, Shahid Kapoor was last seen sharing the screen with Kriti Sanon in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Fans can also look forward to seeing him in the upcoming second season of Raj and DK’s Farzi.
