Himanshi Parashar, who is known for her work in the hit television show Teri Meri Doriyaann, has opened up about being uncomfortable with intimate scenes. In a recent media interaction, the young actress maintained that she is fine with it if it has a “limit”.
According to the actress, she may consider doing intimate scenes on the small screen, if it is conducted within a “limit”. In an interview with IANS, Himanshi mentioned, “I am excited to do any role that I find interesting and which I would like to be a part of.” She added, “I don’t believe in limiting myself to films or web series or TV.”
Speaking further, Himanshi stated that if a web series comes to our mind, it means that an actor has to sign up for bold scenes. But she believes it is not true. She then asserted, “There is no doubt that I am not comfortable doing bold scenes. On television, it has a limit, but I am comfortable with it there. I want to act and do that well.”
Himanshi Parashar recently appeared in the horror film Adbhut, where she was seen in a cameo role. She detailed her experience in the film and why she chose the project. Himanshi revealed that she shot for the film before her hit show. She auditioned for the role in April 2022 and received a call back by July 2022, when she was working on a Punjabi film in London. Once she was back, she worked on Adbhut. However, some of her scenes failed to cut due to re-writing. Despite this, she was excited to be a part of it, added the actress. She said, “But still I was keen to do the part because I liked the story and the team was amazing. I wanted to have this experience.”
Adbhut is made under the direction of Sabbir Khan and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the lead. The cast also includes Diana Penty and Shreya Dhanwanthary. It is produced under the banner of Sony Pictures Networks India.
