Rajinikanth Praises Thalapathy Vijay's GOAT, Director Venkat Prabhu Responds

Thalapathy Vijay’s latest project the Greatest of All Time proved to be an unsurprising blockbuster hit, listing itself in some of the biggest Indian releases of the year. The film not only garnered love from fans but also received praise from the biggest industry names, which includes superstar Rajinikanth.

The superstar, currently appearing in Vettaiyan, another superhit Tamil release, reportedly shelled praises towards GOAT in a phone call with director Venkat Prabhu. The director of the film took to his official X account, to share the details of his interaction with Rajinikanth. He tweeted, “Thank you, Thalaivaaaa!! For the call and for embracing our #GOAT with so much love. Thanks again for appreciating me wholeheartedly. Forever grateful, sending you all the love.”

Fans react to the tweet in the comment section below, expressing their love towards the superstar. The Greatest Of All Time, directed by Venkat Prabhu, had its global release on September 5. The cast includes Thalapathy Vijay with Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Mohan, Jayaram and Ajmal Ameer. It is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment. The music in the film is given by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The cinematographer is Siddhartha Nuni and the editing is done by Venkat Raajen. As per the reports, the film has collected over Rs 450 crore at the box office.

While Rajinikanth is appearing in Vettaiyan, which was released on October 10. Directed by T J Gnanavel, the film stars names like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati and Manju Warrier. Subaskaran Allirajah has produced the film under the banner of Lyca Productions. Anirudh RAvichander has given the music.
