Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has dedicated a heartfelt tribute to Team India after their historic win in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, 2024. Shah Rukh took to his official X account to repost a video of Team India’s victory parade along the famous Marine Drive from Nariman Point to the Wankhede Stadium, and wrote a moving congratulatory message for the Men in Blue.
Sharing the clip, SRK shared: “Seeing the boys so happy and emotional fills my heart with pride. As Indians this is such an amazing moment – to see our boys take us to such great heights!!! Love u all my Team India… and now dance away all night long. Boys in Blue take away all the blues! Big Congratulations to the @BCCI, @JayShah and the entire support staff that has worked tirelessly behind the scenes so that our boys could soar!!”

Team India reached Delhi on Thursday morning on a special Air India flight arranged by BCCI secretary Jay Shah. After their meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, the team reached Mumbai for a grand victory parade.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will be honoured at the Locarno Film Festival with its Honorary Leopard Achievement Award. The award will pay tribute to his remarkable career in the Indian cinema consisting of more than 100 films in a breathtaking multitude of genres.
Popularly known in India as ‘King Khan’ – the emperor (‘Baadshah’) of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan has become a living symbol portraying the vibrance and vitality of Indian cinema. The actor will receive the award on the evening of August 10 at Piazza Grande. In addition, a key film from SRK’s career – Devdas (Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 2002) will be screened during the Festival, and the actor will appear at the Forum @Spazio Cinema for a conversation open to the public on Sunday, August 11.
