Shah Rukh Khan Is Feeling Better And Will Attend IPL 2024 Final: KKR Co-owner Juhi Chawla | Exclusive
Juhi Chawla speaks exclusively to News18 Showsha about Shah Rukh Khan’s health and KKR storming into the finals of IPL 2024.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heat stroke, is feeling much better now, his close friend and actor Juhi Chawla exclusively told News18. Shah Rukh was taken to KD hospital after the actor suffered a heat stroke during Tuesday’s IPL 2024 Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) match, which took place at the Narendra Modi Stadium. SRK attended the match along with his kids Suhana and AbRam and his manager Pooja Dadlani.

Juhi Chawla and husband Jay Mehta, who are also the co-owners of IPL team KKR along with SRK, were clicked leaving KD hospital in their blue-coloured sedan this evening. They didn’t interact with reporters and photographers stationed outside the hospital.

Speaking exclusively to us, Juhi shared Shah Rukh’s health update. “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals,” she told us.

SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan, was also seen arriving at KD Hospital shortly after the news of his hospitalisation broke online. Meanwhile, daughter Suhana Khan is back in Mumbai with close friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor and Navya Nanda and was papped at the private airport.

Juhi and Shah Rukh’s friendship dates back to the early ’90s. The duo has worked together in several films like Darr, Yes Boss, Duplicate and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.

On Tuesday, KKR beat SRH by 8 wickets and qualified for the IPL 2024 finals. Looking back at the big win, Juhi said, “It’s such a good feeling! We are all so happy, so thrilled, proud and so thankful of the team… they have played consistently well throughout the tournament and reached the finals. Every year, we wish and hope for this exhilarating moment and today, it is actually here – the prestigious trophy is just one game away. IPL is such a tough tournament with the best of the best cricketers from across the world playing and competing. Their skills, stamina, strength are tested to the extreme.”

On a concluding note, Juhi said that they are all praying, excited and hopeful that after 10 years KKR will bring the trophy back to Kolkata and make all KKR fans proud of their squad.
