According to reports, it has been found that Shiva Rajkumar is all set to return to Tollywood with a film. Reportedly, actor Shiva Rajkumar has joined the cast of the upcoming Ram Charan starrer, tentatively titled RC 16. The makers made the news official through a post on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter). Popular production banner Mythri Movie Makers, which is co-presenting the film with Sukumar Writings, posted on their X page, “Welcoming ‘Karunada Chakravarthy’ Shiva Rajkumar on board for a pivotal role that resonates with his stature. Team #RC16 wishes Shivanna a very Happy Birthday.”

It has been found that the film is expected to be a sports drama, with Ram Charan playing the lead role. As per reports, Shiva Rajkumar will be playing the role of sports trainer in the project. He will be training Ram Charan’s character. Apart from them, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen playing the female lead in the film. The film is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who shot to fame with his 2021 film Uppena, which also went on to win the National Award for Best Telugu Film that year.

The highly anticipated sports drama is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinema. The makers of #RC16 have yet to announce a release plan for their film. Apart from this project, Shiva Rajkumar will also be seen in Bhairavana Kona Paata, which is being directed by Sapta Sagardaache Ello fame Hemanth M Rao.
