Shraddha Kapoor was mobbed by fans and paparazzi on Friday night as she stepped out in Mumbai with her actor-friend, Varun Dhawan. In a video that surfaced on social media, Shraddha and Varun were seen walking towards the former’s luxurious car when they were surrounded by fans and shutterbugs. The two struggled a little to make their way as Varun also wrapped his arms around Shraddha to ensure she did not get hurt.
Shraddha was also seen giving a flying kiss to the paparazzi as they cheered, ‘Stree 2 hit hai’ and ‘superhit jaa raha hai aapka picture’. For the occasion, Shraddha sported a red top with blue jeans. She looked simple yet stunning. On the other hand, Varun sported a blue shirt and looked charming as always. Watch the video here:
Shraddha Kapoor is currently enjoying the success of Stree 2. Also starring Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi, the film hit theatres on August 15 and impressed audiences. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 sees Rajkummar and Shraddha reprise their roles from the original. The sequel continues the eerie tale in the town of Chanderi, now haunted by a new terror, Sarkata. The townspeople once again turn to Stree for salvation. The film also features several surprise cameos, including Varun Dhawan as Bhediya, who shares a special song with Shraddha Kapoor.
Stree 2 clashed at the box office with Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa. Despite this, Stree 2 managed to gather audiences’ attention. In just two days, the film has earned over Rs 90 crore at the box office. he film raked in an impressive Rs 60.3 crore net in India on its first day, with its gross collection standing at around Rs 76.5 crore. On its second day, the film added another Rs 30 crore to its net total, bringing the cumulative net collection to Rs 90.3 crore.
