Sonu Nigam Shaves Head In Response to Cleric's Challenge
Sonu Nigam addressed the media on Wednesday afternoon clarifying his controversial tweets on azaan.

Nigam, after giving a fitting reply to Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi, vice-president of the West Bengal Minority United Council for issuing a fatwa against him, showed no qualms in getting his head shaved.

For the uninitiated, upset by Nigam’s comments on aazan, Quaderi reportedly offered a reward of ₹10 lakh to anyone who would shave Nigam's head, put a garland of old torn shoes around his neck and parade him around the country. While reacting to Quaderi’s comments, Nigam again took to Twitter this morning.

The singer argued that he had also mentioned in his tweets about Gurdwaras and Temple misusing loudspeakers but no one had paid attention to that. “I can’t write an essay on Twitter. I also wrote a tweet on temples and gurudwara which no one reflected upon."
