Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli were spotted returning to Hyderabad on Friday morning. The duo is collaborating on SSMB29 and their airport spotting has only fuelled the excitement of the film. In a video shared on X and Instagram, Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli were seen walking out of the airport. It is reported that the duo was returning from Dubai.
Mahesh was seen wearing a black and white jacket with a grey tee underneath. He paired it with jeans. He sported a cap, sunglasses and was seen carrying a shoulder bag. On the other hand, Rajamouli was seen wearing a brown tee with a blue jacket. The duo maintained a distance from the paparazzi.

Their recent spotting has fans believing that Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli could be working on dropping a new announcement about the film. The duo has been tight-lipped about the film’s plot. They have not yet revealed the title either. However, in a recent interview, the RRR hitmaker shed a little light about the film’s status.
“We started my next film. We completed the writing, we are in the pre-production process…But we haven’t finished the casting yet. Only the main hero is locked, the protagonist of the film is locked. His name is Mahesh Babu, he is a Telugu actor (people hoot). Looks like many of you already know him. He is very handsome. Hopefully, we finish the film a little bit fast,” he said, while addressing fans in Japan.
SSMB 29 has already generated a massive buzz. Reports have been doing the rounds suggesting that SSMB 29 will be India’s Indiana Jones. According to reports, Mahesh Babu’s character in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film is inspired by Lord Hanuman. Writer Vijayendra Prasad, who has penned the story of the film, revealed in his latest interview that the makers will be roping in Hollywood actors for an action-adventure set in Africa.
