Andrea Bocelli is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated Italian tenor artists in the world. The seasoned musician is known for seamlessly blending opera and pop music. The 65-year-old veteran recently held a three-day concert in Tuscany. The show, named Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration, took place on July 15, 17 and 19 at Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, which is Andrea Bocelli’s hometown. Several big names from the music and entertainment industry attended the concerts. Andrea Bocelli also shared the stage with a number of his new and old collaborators.
Amongst those who attended Andrea Bocelli’s Tuscany concert were actor Will Smith and singer Ed Sheeran. Recently, Will Smith shared a video in which Andrea Bocelli plays flute for him and Ed Sheeran. The video appears to have been taken backstage, before the concert. While sharing this video, Will Smith wrote, “Me and Ed Sheeran getting a flute lesson from the great Andrea Bocelli. Andrea Bocelli explained to us that he’ll often use the flute to prepare for a show because it allows him to warm up his diaphragm without having to strain your voice. GENIUS!!”
Commenting on it, an Instagram fan wrote, “It’s not easy to make a flute play: from the positioning of the tongue to breathing! It took me a while to get the sound out.”
Another one mentioned, “Woo Congratulations to the Star, blessings in his entire life, I am a fan and I enjoy watching him act in his films, hugs.”
After the concerts, Andrea Bocelli is bracing for the release of his upcoming album Duets. The album has collaborations with artists like Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton, Dua Lipa, Celine Dion, Ed Sheeran, Hans Zimmer and others. Duets will be released on October 25. The first single from the album is a duet between Andrea Bocelli and Shania Twain. The single, Da Stanotte in Poi (From This Moment On), was released on July 12.
