Aishwarya Rai and Navya Naveli Nanda were seen with Aaradhya Bachchan at Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday bash. The superstar turned 81 on Wednesday, October 11, and rang in his birthday with family and fans. Amitabh’s son Abhishek who’s currently not in town, was also part of the celebration, all thanks to his wife Aishwarya.
On Tuesday night, while fans celebrated his birthday, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress made a special phone call to Abhishek. Taking to his Twitter handle, the Dasvi actor wrote, “Yup, wifey showing me what’s going on. .”

Another video went viral from last night, where Aishwarya and Navya were seen standing close to the house’s entrance, taking pictures of the frenzy. They were also seen chatting while they waited for Big B to return. Watch the video below:
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan rang in his birthday with his family at Jalsa. His granddaugter Navya Naveli Nanda shared inside photos from the bash to reveal that she, Aaradhya, Agastya Nanda and Jaya Bachchan were also at the celebration. In the photo, Big B stood in the middle while Navya was seen posing with Aaradhya by her side and Jaya stood on the other side with Agastya. Missing from the frame were Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan, who seemed to be behind the camera.
Sharing the photo, Navya wrote, “Happy Birthday Nana.” Shortly after, Shweta took to her Instagram account and shared a photo collage featuring Amitabh from the in-house party. “Happy 81st Papa Big shoes ( and hugs ) no one can ever manage to fill ,” she wrote.
Coming back to Abhishek, he was last seen in Ghoomer. The film also had a special cameo appearance by Amitabh as well. While the film didn’t earn good box office numbers, it was widely appreciated by fans and critics alike. The film also starred Saiyami Kher in the lead role.
