Days after Arbaaz Khan married make-up artist Shura Khan, the actor took to his Instagram handle on Thursday to share an unseen video from the intimate ceremony. In the clip, Arbaaz was seen singing his brother Salman Khan’s song ‘tere mast mast do nain’ for his ladylove, Shura. In the caption, Arbaaz joked about his singing skills and wrote, “No wonder my father wanted me to be cricketer instead of a singer.”
Arbaaz Khan got married to make-up artist Shura Khan in an intimate wedding ceremony on December 24. The nikah took place at Arpita Khan’s home with Salman Khan and family attending it. After the ceremony, Arbaaz took to his Instagram handle and shared photos with his Shura. “In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on!♥️ Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!” he wrote.
Following Arbaaz’s wedding, his father, Salim Khan spoke to News18 Showsha exclusively and shared that he is happy for his son. “They decided to get married. Mere hisaab se, ye koi gunaah nahi hai (according to me, it is not a crime). I am happy for him and I have given my blessings to the bride and the groom,” he said.
“I don’t think there was any need for a discussion. He is young, educated, and mature and can make his own decisions. There is no need for my permission. If he is happy then nothing else matters. He just mentioned that he was going to get married and I said that’s fine. I also feel that it’s better not to interfere in anyone’s life as it causes problems,” the veteran screenwriter added.
Arbaaz was previously married to Malaika Arora for 19 years. The two tied the knot in 1998 but announced their separation in March 2016 and officially got divorced in May 2017. They continue to co-parent their son named Arhaan.
