As the new year unfolds, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a heartfelt Instagram post, giving us a peek into his 2023 and manifestations for 2024. He shared a carousel of photos on his social media and captioned it, “Nayi Subah”.

The first photo captures a peaceful moment by the window, bathed in soft light. In the second, we see a touching photo from the prayer meet for his father, who passed away in 2023.

The carousel moves on to feature Ayushmann’s lively stage performance, his camaraderie with Ke Huy Quan at the TIME Impact Awards, and a laid-back moment – shirtless – under a tree. Among these, one shot that grabbed everyone’s eyes was one featuring Tatum O’Neal, who, at the age of ten on April 2, 1974, clinched the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The photo read “manifestations” and suggests Ayushmann dreams for the future.

Ever since he started with Vicky Donor, Ayushmann Khurrana has been giving us big hits with his unique roles. This year, his only movie, Dream Girl-2, was a super hit. He’s proven himself as a great actor, but there’s always competition in the industry.

In an exclusive interview with News18, the actor revealed how he remains unfazed by the constant pressure of proving himself and also revealed how he is happy when his contemporaries succeed, “I get inspired by my contemporaries. As long as the release dates of our films aren’t the same, there’s no competition (laughs). I consume their films as an audience member, who loves to get entertained and that’s about it. I’m happy for their success. I would pick up the phone with them if I liked their work. I loved Ranveer Singh’s performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He was phenomenal. I complimented him and Karan (Johar, the director). I loved that film. I think it’s a beautiful film.”
