Although Bhau Kadam calls himself Dombivlikar (belonging to Dombivli), he was born in BPT Chali, Wadala, Mumbai. He was born on June 12, 1972.
Bhau, who spent his childhood in BPT Chali, did his schooling at Dnyaneshwar Vidyalaya, Wadala. After the untimely death of his father, Bhau settled in Dombivli with his family. Due to his father’s death, the responsibility of being the breadwinner of the family fell on Bhau and his brother. Bhau counted votes in election booths as many odd jobs he did, He also helped his mother with leaf pounding to earn a livelihood. This, along with his polling duty, made the family’s ends meet.
