RM Share Glimpse Of BTS’ Renewed Contract, Promises To Return In 2025
As of now, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are dedicating their time to working on solo songs and albums. Meanwhile, Jin and J Hope have already begun their military service.

BTS, the beloved K-pop boy band, is currently on a break from their group activities, focusing on individual projects, while some members are fulfilling their mandatory military service. However, amidst their hiatus, there’s exciting news for ARMYs around the world as their favourite septet has officially renewed their contracts with HYBE and BIGHIT Music. The seven members, Jin, Suga, J Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, have committed to extending their partnership and the new contracts is set to come into effect in 2025. Group leader RM shared a glimpse of their exclusive contract on his personal Instagram Stories on September 20. Tagging the agency, he wrote ARMY alongside 2025 with purple heart emoji’s, giving fans something to look forward to.

Following this revelation, their agency confirmed the news with several local media and stated, “With the renewal of their contracts, we hope will be able to share with everyone a full group promotional period for BTS in 2025. HYBE and Big Hit Music will do everything we can to support and further improve BTS’s status.”

BTS, which debuted in 2013, first renewed their contracts in October 2018, a year before the completion of their initial 7 year contract period. The members opted for an early re-contract with HYBE and Big Hit Music. As some of the members are currently fulfilling their military service obligations, the agency plans to sign them according to their availabilities.

As of now, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are dedicating their time to working on solo songs and albums. Meanwhile, Jin and J Hope have already begun their military service. On the other hand, Suga is scheduled to commence his military service on September 22, following the conclusion of his 3 yearlong solo Agust D Tour in Seoul, South Korea which wrapped up on August 6.

Earlier this week, Min Yoongi touched the hearts of his fans as he held a final Weverse chat with ARMYs before starting his military duty. Seeing his fans getting teary eyed, the rapper told them, “Everyone you don’t need to cry. We’ll be meeting in 2025, right? It is a little sad that we won’t be able to do anything for two years, but we promised we’d meet again in 2025. I won’t be able to do Suchwita but I filmed a lot, so please look forward to it. I filmed a lot, don’t worry too much. I came to say hello to you all. See you in 2025.”

Meanwhile, BigHit Music donated a remarkable 1 Billion Won (approximately Rs 6 Crore) to UNICEF in the name of BTS ARMY. This generous contribution was a token of appreciation for the constant support from their fans and a celebration of the renewal of BTS’s contracts.
