Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 7: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif’s Film Stays Strong; Mints Rs 217 Crores

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 has become one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. Released on November 12, the film has already crossed the Rs 200 crore mark in India in just five days. As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, Tiger 3 earned Rs 17 crores in India on Saturday (November 18). With this, the total collection of the movie in India stands at Rs 217.90 crores. The film has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the global box office.

Tiger 3 opened at the box office with Rs 44.50 crore on November 12. The film not only became the highest Diwali opening for Salman Khan but also the superstar’s highest opening ever. The film then earned Rs 59.25 crore on its second day followed by Rs 44 and Rs 21 crore on day three and four respectively.

Recently, Salman Khan also shared that he is overwhelmed with the response Tiger 3 is getting from the audience. “I’m delighted with the response from the audience and fans for Tiger 3! They have given the film a brilliant start and I’m happy that the third part of this franchise is also scripting a success story. Tiger is a franchise that is close to my heart. So, to see it get more and more love film after film is really special. I hope the film continues to entertain audiences worldwide,” he said.

Katrina Kaif also shared that she feels ‘extremely happy’ about Tiger 3’s success at the box office. “I feel extremely happy. I think being able to entertain the audience is what gives us the most joy, what gives me the most joy and the audience’s love is what allows us to keep making the Tiger franchise. And that’s a big passion, I think for all of us. It’s one of my most loved films. It’s so dear to my heart. And I think it’s all now become a big part of our lives,” she said.

Tiger 3 marks the third film in Yash Raj Films’ OG spy franchise. It is directed by Maneesh Sharma. Besides Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the film also stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist, along with Kumud Mishra, Revathi, Riddhi Dogra and Anant Vidhaat. Shah Rukh Khan also made an action-packed cameo in the movie. Tiger 3 was released in theatres on November 12.
