The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conclude the enrollment process for class 9 and 11 students today, October 25, without the late fee payment. Student registration is available at cbse.nic.in for schools that have an affiliation with CBSE. The CBSE Pariksha Sangam platform will be used to conduct the registration process for the Class 9 and 11 examinations in 2024. However, the board has also made it possible to register for the CBSE after October 26 by paying a late fee.
An official notification by CBSE stated, “All CBSE affiliated schools are required to register themselves before proceeding with online submission. Schools must use the ‘Affiliation NUmber’ as a user ID.”
Schools must carefully review the information that students provide, such as their names, parents’ names, dates of birth, and other details, as once it is published to the CBSE registration system, it cannot be modified later. As part of the procedure, schools must also upload scanned copies of student’s passport-sized pictures, signatures, and school ID cards.
Students in classes 9 and 11 can register by submitting a registration fee of Rs 300. Registration fees for international students is Rs 500 and Rs 600 for classes 9 and 11, respectively. In addition to the CBSE registration fee, training and sports fees must be paid. Students who are visually impaired are exempt from paying the CBSE registration fee.
Beginning tomorrow, October 26, the board will accept registrations with late fines. Students in classes 9 and 11 in India would be required to pay Rs 2,300 to register themselves. For students studying at CBSE schools abroad, the late fees would be Rs 2,500 for students in class 9 and Rs 2,600 for students in class 11.
Only students whose names have been submitted through the online registration process will be permitted to sit for class 10 and 12 board examinations in the academic year 2024-25. The board will also shortly publish the schedule for the classes 10 and 12 board exams 2024. The CBSE datesheet is anticipated to be made available by the end of this month, as per media reports. The board has not yet made an official announcement on the exact date for the release of the exam timetable. According to previous patterns, CBSE normally provides date sheets for class 10 and 12 board examinations roughly two months before the examination.
