Last year, the National Testing Agency made a decision to offer choices in one section of each subject for Paper 1 and Papers 2A and 2B. However, the total number of questions to be attempted still stayed at 25 for physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) recently shared the syllabus for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024). After that, students began asking the National Testing Agency (NTA) to provide the JEE syllabus. But it’s not clear if the NEET UG syllabus has been reduced, and some students have also noticed mistakes in the provided syllabus.

The JEE Main syllabus mainly covers topics from NCERT Class 11 and 12 subjects. Because of the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, many education boards, such as CBSE and CISCE, reduced the Class 12 syllabus. According to NTA officials, the JEE syllabus is crafted with input from experts, and candidates can anticipate a more concise JEE Main exam this year.
