Left Front declares first list of candidates for West Bengal Assembly polls

The Left Front on Monday declared the candidate for the West Bengal Assembly elections, which is slated to be held in six phases between April 4 and May 5.

Releasing the candidate list, Left Front chairman Biman Bose said that they had reached an understanding wih Congress to fight jointly against ruling Trinamool Congress.

There are 68 new faces in LF’s first list with 16 women candidates and 25 minority. They declared the names of 116 candidates.
