With Gujarat’s Jamnagar shining bright like a diamond, Day 1 of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities saw global singing sensation Rihanna set the stage on fire with a special performance for the couple.
Making her India debut with a scintillating performance which included her hit numbers such as We Found Love, Work, Rude Boy, Bitch Better Have My Money,and Umbrella among others, Rihanna’s power packed live performance culminated with her widely loved and popular song Diamonds.
Known for her versatile voice and her distinct style quotient, Rihanna looked resplendent in an ensemble which featured a sheer sparkling neon green kurta-style silhouette thrown over a hot pink halter neck catsuit. The sheer green featured a thigh high slit in the front with minimal ruffle detailing.

The unique silhouette designed for Rihanna celebrated her fierce personality, which matches her high octane performance.
Rihanna looked at ease in the full-sleeved contemporary look as she grooved on stage to the live music making each beat count. Rihanna’s on stage looks also consisted of an oversized coat and a cap paired with a veil which she tied around her waist. Fitting her like a glove, Rihanna’s contemporary desi look was complemented with some fine jewellery pieces.
In the middle of the performance, Rihanna went on to wish Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant and thanked the Ambani family for inviting her to India. “I am here tonight in honour of Anant and Radhika. Thank you for having me here. Bless your union. Wishing you all the best. Congratulations,” said Rihanna, as she went on to sing ‘We found Love’.

Post the show, Rihanna was joined on stage by Nita and Mukesh Ambani, Akash and Shloka Ambani, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, and Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Nita Mukesh Ambani felicitated Rihanna with a bouquet of flowers before the singer stepped off stage.
