Tata Azura Name Trademarked in India: It is expected that the production model might hit the market in both electric and ICE models next. However, brand yet to share official details.

The homegrown car manufacturer Tata has been working on introducing the Curvv concept-based SUV in India, which already made an official appearance at AutoExpo 2023. Now, it has been reported that the company has registered the Azura nametag, which is likely to be used for the Curvv concept production models.

According to the report, there are high chance that the company might launch the SUV in both electric and fuel-powered models next in the Indian market. However, the brand has not shared any official details regarding the same as yet.

When it comes to the styling and design element, a lot of details of production-ready models have been revealed online. Even, the car has been spied on many times during the testing phase, clearing all the doubts about future SUV.

As per the leaked images, it is expected that the upcoming Curvv production, which is likely to be known as Azura, will share a lot of style elements from the concept design. However, customers might see some noticeable cosmetic changes from the exterior. The SUV is anticipated to carry forward the same dashboard, squared-off wheel arches, shoulder line, and roofline, which was shown in the concept avatar.

Talking about the features, the production model might come with a floating center console, an armrest in the centre, a 360-degree camera, dual climate control, a multi-functional steering wheel with an illuminated logo on it, a panoramic sunroof, decent size touchscreen infotainment system, which will support all the car connect features.

Under the hood, the ICE model is likely to feature the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and the latest 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is expected to release decent power and torque. As far as the electric model is concerned, it will be based on will be based company’s generation 2 EV platform, which might provide a claimed range between 400–500 kilometres.
