New Delhi: Ending months of speculation, former IPS officer Kiran Bedi on Tuesday told CNN-IBN that she did not rule out entering Indian politics.
There are reports that Bedi might join the BJP. She also tweeted, "I no more rule out entering indian political service on capability basis. I am moving towards some flexibility in this.
Bedi had been all praise for Narendra Modi in the past couple of months. It is being speculated that she might join the BJP ahead of Assembly elections in Delhi.
"Feel as if the country was orphaned past several years. It finally has a guardian who is caring and capable! We can now focus on creativity," she tweeted after election results were declared on May 16.
"All who were spreading lies and apprehensions about @narendramodi got punished! Indian Voter saw it all! It's a victory of good intentions!" Ms Bedi said in another tweet.
Yesterday, expelled AAP legislator Vinod Kumar Binny had called upon the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress to consider Ms Bedi for the post of Delhi chief minister, saying holding fresh Assembly elections would be a wastage of public money.
