New Delhi: In more trouble for Mohan Kundariya, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Rajkot who was caught on camera walking over schoolchildren at a yoga camp, the district collectorate has sought a probe against him.
The Rajkot Collector on Wednesday asked the Social Justice Department to inquire into the incident.
The collector asked the Department to see if any provision of the Juvenile Justice Act was violated.
The video showing Kundraiya walking over the backs of schoolchildren went viral on messaging application WhatsApp ealier this week. The video was taken at a yoga camp organised by the Arya Samaj.
Kundariya, however, defended himself, saying that the organisers had asked him to walk on the students to display their yoga skills.
