'I Am Here With You': Mohanlal To His Fans At The Annual Meet In Kerala

The 25th-anniversary celebration of the Mohanlal Fans Association took place in Kochi, featuring a notable speech from superstar Mohanlal. Addressing the gathering, he began with a poignant statement, “I don’t have children,” highlighting the profound joy of being surrounded by people who genuinely love without expecting anything in return. His heartfelt words resonated with fans, making his speech a memorable moment of the event.

He further said, “I believe that nothing else can convey the joy and confidence that you get when a thousand people say, I am here with you. What more do I want as an actor?”

Mohanlal then said that it was only because of the love and prayers of his fans that he had been able to achieve such a place in the Malayalam film industry. The celebration was organized at the CIAL Convention Centre in Kerala.

Later, the actor also talked about Mammootty, who came to inaugurate the Mohanlal Fans Association. Mohanlal said he would like to take this opportunity to say a few words about Mammootty, whom he considers his brother. The actor has shared a close relationship with Mammootty for years. He further said that Mammooty has always been with him on his film journey. The power of love is that we can grow together when we stand together. This friendship journey began 25 years ago and is still going on.

The All Kerala Mohanlal Fans and Cultural Welfare Association was started on September 2, 1998, at Chaka Care Home.

However, on the professional front, Mohanlal was recently seen making a cameo appearance in the action comedy film Jailer. The movie was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and backed by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. While it featured Rajinikanth in the lead role, Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sunil, Mirnaa Menon, and Yogi Babu played the supporting roles.

He will soon be seen in the upcoming film Neru. This Malayalam-language courtroom drama film was directed by Jeethu Joseph. It is produced and distributed by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas. The film will star Mohanlal as the main lead, along with Priyamani, Anaswara Rajan, Jagadish, Siddique, Sankar Induchoodan, and Santhi in important roles. The music for the movie will be composed by Vishnu Shyam and is all set to hit screens on December 21.
