AAP against ban on opinion polls, but wants details to be made public

New Delhi: Even as the government mulls a ban on opinion polls, the Aam Aadmi Party has said that it is in favour of opinion polls, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said that the party opposes a ban on opinion polls.

"We are against a ban on opinion polls. But the details of the opinion poll should be in public so that the credibility is judged by the people. It is true that questions are always raised on the credibility of opinion polls," Sisodia said.

The Left also said that a ban on opinion polls is wrong. "This is wrong, Congress is doing so as they fear they will lose in the coming elections," said Left leader Gurudas Dagupta.
