Samsung’s Galaxy S8 was being touted as the device that would make users forget and forgive the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. There have been reports of users complaining about a new issue in the Galaxy S8 plaguing them – the smartphones are restarting on their own.

Several Galaxy S8 owners are expressing their displeasure over the matter on Samsung’s official community page for the United States as well as the XDA Developers forums.

However, Samsung has not officially acknowledged this as an issue so far.

Meanwhile, some users found out a connection between using a MicroSD card and the restart issue. Also, some users reported that their apps appeared rearranged after every restart.

This comes after some users were concerned about a strange ‘red tint’ on the display of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.

The Galaxy S8 has been launched for 57,990 in India and the brand is already taking praises like 'stunning display', 'drop-dead gorgeous design' or 'the best Android phone of 2017' for granted with the device.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED curved display. It offers a 1440x2960 pixel resolution with 570 PPI. The resolution can be changed to Quad HD+ (WQHD+) or Full HD+ as required.

The Galaxy S8 is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 8895 processor (in India) with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB.
