Ashneer Grover Takes A Dig At The Addition Of 6 New Judges On Shark Tank 3

After Shark Tank India confirmed roping in 6 new sharks in the 3rd season, viewers want former judge Ashneer Grover to make a comeback. The announcement came on Saturday on X with a promo that unveiled the brand-new judges. The list introduces OYO CEO Ritesh Agarwal, Inshorts co-founder Azhar Iqubal, Acko CEO Varun Dua, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, Edelweiss CEO Radhika Gupta, and UpGrad Chairman Ronnie Screwvala, who is also a film producer. “This new season, the stakes are going to be higher, with 12 Sharks in the Tank,” wrote the makers. As soon as the announcement caught the attention of BharatPe’s co-founder Ashneer Grover, the entrepreneur took a sly dig at the upcoming season, garnering significant traction on X.

Notably, Ashneer Grover was one of the OG sharks of the show, who was replaced in the second season. During his stint in the business reality series, the entrepreneur rose to great prominence for his iconic dialogue “Ye sab doglapan hai.” Now, Ashneer jokingly called the upcoming edition an audition round for the new Sharks, also wishing the makers’ move of increasing quantity doesn’t affect the show’s quality. He hinted that the makers created an “unnecessary trouble” for the show by deciding to replace him. “Shark Tank 3 is the ‘audition’ of sharks for Shark Tank 4 ! Life mein ek lesson hai – don’t change and make unnecessary problem of something which is already solved. Wish quantity solves for quality,” he wrote on the social media platform.

It was entrepreneur Amit Jain, the co-founder of Car Dekho who joined the business reality show in the second season replacing Ashneer Grover. The upcoming edition brings back Lenskart CEO Peyush Bansal, Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive Namita Thapar, Founder of Shaadi.com Anupam Mittal, and CMO of boAT Aman Gupta on the Shark panel including Amit Jain.

The format of the reality show includes budding entrepreneurs from all across India bidding their business models in front of the designated panel to garner investment. The shooting of Shark Tank India season 3 has already hit the floors, it is scheduled to premiere in January 2024. The exact release date of Shark Tank 3 remains undisclosed yet.
