Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Pratiksha Honmukhe Reacts To Dating Rumors With Shehzada Dhami

TV actress Pratiksha Honmukhe recently landed a new role in the show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye after getting ousted from the popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) along with her co-star Shehzada Dhami. Shehzada and Pratiksha portrayed the role of Armaan and Ruhi respectively in the show. According to the reports, the duo has been terminated from the show due to their unprofessional behaviour.

In a recent interview with Times Now’s Telly Talk India, Pratiksha reacted to her exit from the show and responded to dating rumours with Shehzada.

She clarified, “Nahi hum toh ek dusre ko date kar hi nahi rahe the (We weren’t dating each other). We are still good friends aur hamesha good friends hi rahenge (We will always remain good friends). I don’t know logon ne yeh kya soch liya. Just because woh mera pehle show tha toh wahan par jo sabse pehle mera dost bana tha woh Shehzada hi tha (I don’t know why people assumed otherwise. Shehzada became my friend on the previous show).”

“So, the way he helped me, the way he was with me, because of that, we formed a bond. When you are more comfortable with someone then that bond develops but it doesn’t mean you are in a romantic relationship. So, I just want to say that we were friends and will continue to remain friends. There’s nothing more to it,” she added.

Pratiksha also responded to the claims made by Rajan Shahi, the producer of YRKKH. She stated, “Look, we can’t control what people say. If I become friends with someone else tomorrow, people will start linking me with them too but that doesn’t mean I’m involved with them. So, I think people will keep talking so it is better to focus on our work. Let the God decide who’s right and who’s wrong. So, yes, that’s it. I don’t want to comment further because I’ve started something new now. I don’t want to dwell on the past.”

As per several media reports, there was concerns of Shehzada on the sets of YRKKH where he used to mistreat the crew. Despite efforts to address the issue, his behaviour remained unchanged. On the other hand, Pratiksha was not matching up the expectations required for the character.

Meanwhile, Pratiksha Honmukhe will be seen playing Arjit Taneja’s former girlfriend in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayye. The show also features Sriti Jha, Hemangi Kavi and others actors in key roles.
