Are You A Chapati Lover? Then You Must Visit This Roti Market In Prayagraj
The market is located at Colonel Ganj near the ATM intersection of Prayagraj.

Chapati and rice are one of the staple diets of Indians. Cooking rice is considered to be the easiest recipe, while making chapati is quite tough. Preparing round chapatis requires consistency, practice and stable hands. It can take a lot of time to cook round and tasty chapatis, if you don’t know the basics. The people of Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) do not need to worry about the hard process of making roti, as they can buy the same from a market which is also known as Roti Market aka Roti Ki Mandi. A video is going viral, in which a market of chapati was shown. Here the eateries don’t sell fast foods or vegetables, but freshly prepared chaptis. The video has gone viral now.

In the latest viral video, a man is telling the viewers about the existence of a chapati market. It is present at Colonel Ganj near the ATM intersection of Prayagraj. There are seven to eight shops, where only chapatis are cooked and sold. The average price is reportedly Rs 3 per chapati. You can also pack four chapatis for Rs 10. Each day, there is a crowd of people at this intersection, who are living away from home and are unable to make round rotis. Students and bachelors constitute the majority of the buyers. After cooking pulses or vegetables at home, people get chapatis packed from here. The video has been posted online.

During the time of inflation, the affordable prices of these chapatis are like a boon for many. Netizens pointed out the hypocrisy of the students and bachelors, who often spend hundreds of rupees on fast food but hesitate to spend Rs 3 on chapatis. “Sab log Rs 20 ke 5 golgappe kha lenge, lekin Rs 10 ke 3 roti enhe mehengi lag rahi hai (Everyone eats Pani Puri for Rs 20, but they feel 3 chapatis for Rs 10 is expensive)”. One user took a jab at the present choices of the students. Others appreciated the idea of this market. “Really innovative and helpful for a lot of struggling students,” wrote one of the users.
