However, sometimes we see many unexpected things that catch our eye. A similar incident happened to a couple. Recently, a couple from the United States shared a story on social media stating that came across a mysterious doll lying on the road while they were hiking. The husband wanted to take the doll home but due to his wife’s reaction, he couldn’t do so. The woman was horrified after seeing the doll as if she had seen a ghost.
The video was shared on a group named r/Weird in the popular social media platform Reddit. In this group, people often share about their strange experiences. The man posted the picture of a voodoo doll, which the couple saw while they were enjoying their vacation. He mentioned that though he wanted to bring the mysterious doll home, his wife didn’t let him do so.
Posting the picture, he wrote, “Made a pit stop in the Rocky Mountains and took a walkabout. Wasn’t expecting to get cursed. He was covered with red wax and had some damage, the one ‘foot’ was also signed. Seemed ‘fresh’ in that it hadn’t been there long. I wanted to take him home. She said no way, Jose.”

Hundreds of users commented on the post mentioning that the doll was a voodoo doll. The users also stated that these types of dolls are generally used to perform black magic. One user commented, “Please do not touch such things if you see these ever as these dolls are often cursed,” while another user wrote, “Take this home and wait for the death to arrive, as these dolls are cursed.” A third user wrote, “You should have taken this home.” While some people supported the wife’s decision to leave it there some people mentioned that these are beliefs which are not true.
