According to the Reddit user, they had visited the basement several times before but had never encountered anything unusual or out of place. So, when they started hearing some weird noises, he went down and tried to find what was causing it. Upon inspection, they discovered a door. They stated in the post that he was so scared that he ran out of the area and refused to go back.
