An incident from Madhya Pradesh has garnered attention, where a mother-in-law sang Shiv Bhajan in the operation theatre for her daughter-in-law, who was nervous during her delivery.
According to reports, the incident happened in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. In a recent media interaction, Preeti Dixit (mother-in-law) told Local18 that 7 years ago, her younger son Saurabh Dixit had committed suicide on the day after Holi. He did not get a good score on an examination and took the wrong step. From then until today, she has not overcome this incident.
But now, when her daughter-in-law was pregnant and ready for delivery, she requested the doctor for the same day and time as her younger son’s suicide day. Keeping the emotional thing in mind, Dr Jaya Mishra accepted the request.
Further, Preeti Dixit said that whatever name comes as per the horoscope, they will accept it, but the real name of her grandson will remain Saurabh. Later, she expressed her happiness for her daughter-in-law, who has brought her lost son back in the form of her grandson.
On the other hand, surgeon Jaya Mishra shared that she told the patient’s mother-in-law that they do not allow the patient’s relatives in the operation theatre. But Preeti Dixit’s daughter-in-law was very nervous. So, Preeti requested that she be allowed her during the time of delivery and make sure the child was born on March 27 at 11 a.m.
In the operation theatre, mother-in-law Preeti sang a bhajan to give courage to her daughter-in-law. Hearing this, the doctor said that she also felt very relaxed.
Reports suggest Preeti Dixit is a singer and lives in Manchaman Colony Square, Ujjain. She works with many religious bhajan groups and performs bhajans at various functions.
