Humans do not shy away from walking the extra mile, when it comes to expressing their love for pets, dogs to be specific. Imagine taking an abandoned puppy home, only to find out later that it is not what you expected it to be. Yes, that’s what exactly happened with a man in Japan who stumbled across what he assumed was a puppy by the side of a highway. Little did he know he was in for a shock. The incident dates back to 2020 when a man thought to keep the animal to his house, until it finds a forever home. Sharing his discovery on X, he asked people if they knew who the sweet little creature belonged to. Contrary to what he was expecting as people’s response, they started highlighting the fur baby he had provided shelter was not a dog but was actually a baby fox. Given the responses, he decided to take her to examine for confirmation.
Sharing a further update, he wrote, “Thank you for your many retweets and opinions. I had a good night’s sleep after eating rice last night, and this morning I have a good appetite with defecation and urination. Is it a fox? I will confirm it later with the veterinarian.”
Well, even after discovering that the little creature was indeed a fox, he displayed his humanitarian side and continued to take care of the little creature until she was fine. He knew that it was illegal in Japan to keep foxes as pets so he won’t be able to keep her. Therefore, he decided to give the baby fox to a farm.
Since people were keen to know more about what he did with the fox, March shared with them, “We have completed handing over the fox to Kita Kitsune Farm. If you have the opportunity, I would be happy if you could visit Luna.” The man’s generosity and kind-heart won the Internet’s heart in the end.
