'No Food, No Water': Man Complains About Ticketless Passengers 'Overloading' 2AC Coach

No train coach can now be considered luxurious, given the audacity of ticketless travellers who shamelessly get into any coach, regardless of its class. This reality became painfully clear in a recent incident aboard the Kashi Express, where a passenger had reserved a seat in the 2nd AC coach with the expectation of a comfortable journey. However, upon boarding, he was met with a shocking sight: the compartment was overflowing with unauthorised passengers.

Turning to social media platform ‘X’, the dismayed passenger, Adnan Bin Sufiyan, documented the alarming conditions within the compartment and shared his experience online. The footage depicted individuals cramming not only the aisles and toilets but also obstructing the doors, hindering the proper functioning of the air conditioning (AC) system. In his post, Adnan directly addressed Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, asking him to intervene.

“Ashwini Vaishnaw, sir, please look at the situation 2 tier of AC. No food, no water. Washroom aane jaane ki jagah nahi hai. AC bhi kaam nahi kar rahi darwaja open hai [There’s no space to go to the washroom. The AC isn’t working, and the door is open]. Please take any action” he pleaded on ‘X.’

The video swiftly gained traction, catching the attention of Railway Seva, the official support account for ‘X’ passengers, who promptly brought it to the attention of the Divisional Railway Manager, Bhusawal.

Meanwhile, social media users reacted swiftly to the distressing footage, with one commentator remarking, “This is really bad experience and safety concern. It’s high time to take harsh step and safeguard train journey. Also it is tarnishing our nation image.” Another added, “When new trains are not running, this will be the situation, maybe after some time we will see this in Vande Bharat trains as well.”

Since its initial upload, the video has garnered over 16K views on the platform. However, after ‘X’ user @kapsology reposted it, the clip skyrocketed to a whopping million views.
