A plant with its name, however, lives today as well. The name of this plant is T-Rex Dinosaur cactus and it’s quite difficult to locate it. Many times, people happen to pass quite close by the plant, but are not able to find it. It is because the Tyrannosaurus rex is surrounded by many other cactus plants. According to The Budget Savy Travelers, T-Rex dinosaur cactus is a special type of Saguaro cactus plant. The Saguaro cactus plant has a lifespan of 150 to 200 years. The Saguaro Cactus or Carnegiea Gigantea is the largest cactus in the USA. Its height can range from 40-80 feet. T-Rex Dinosaur cactus has many such characteristics, which make it the most unique plant in the world.

A social media user named Massimo has tweeted a photo of this plant. The caption alongside the picture reads, “The T-Rex dinosaur cactus is located next to the Superstition Mountains, just outside Phoenix, Arizona. The hard-to-find cactus stands just off Jacob’s Crosscut Trail #58, which leads to the Broadway Cave.”

According to the report of thebudgetsavvytravelers.com, the Saguaro cactus is found in the desert areas of America. The American state of Arizona has accorded the status of state flower to the flower blooming on Saguaro Cactus.

Saguaro Cactus is also known as Giant Cactus and Cereus Giganteus. It takes many years for a Saguaro Cactus to evolve as a fully grown-up plant. The report further states that it can take up to 10 years for a Saguaro Cactus to increase even an inch in height. For a Saguaro to stand six feet tall, it may take 70 years. To reach a height of 15 feet, it may take 100 years. This is right about the time it may produce its first branch. The branch is also referred to as an arm.

The Saguaro with the most arms ever recorded was given the name Granddaddy. It was located in Saguaro National Park East. The cactus passed away in the early 1990s with 52 arms and reached a height of 40 feet. Grandaddy was estimated to be about 300 years old.
