Indian cuisine stands out as one of the most delectable in the world, and for good reason. Every state brings its flavour, creating a vast range of food options to choose from. This rich diversity not only delights locals but also captivates travellers from across the globe. A Turkish vlogger sparked widespread interest online after sharing his candid reviews of Indian food.
In a series of Instagram videos, he explores and rates an array of Indian dishes, providing a fresh perspective on this beloved cuisine.
The vlogger named Hasan Kinay refers to himself as the “Gourmet Kid of Turkey.” In the first video, Hasan appreciated diverse flavours in the Indian spread and followed it up by trying delicious-looking food items. As he shared his reviews, he rated Andhra meal 9.5/10, neer dose 10/10, coconut pudding 7/10, gulab jamun 8.2/10 and chole bhature 8.5/10.
The clip was accompanied by a long caption wherein the vlogger described the dishes he tried. Referring to Andhra Meal, he wrote, “A traditional South Indian meal that includes all the goodness you can ask for from a cuisine.”
Calling gulab jamun “genius” and neer dose “heavenly”, he added, “All the ratings I gave were mostly based on taste and the techniques used to prepare the dishes, but genuinely, all the food was 100/10. Why? Because food is always about the people and the hospitality of those who serve it, and the experience of sharing the food with others is something that can’t be quantified through numbers.”

Hasan Kinay explored other Indian dishes in a follow-up video. The clip featured him trying Mangalorean fish meal, medu vada, keekh kebab, aloo ke paratha and paan. The vlogger, in his caption, mentioned that he is in love with Indian cuisine. Sharing his thoughts on Paan, he added, “I have to admit this was one of the most unexpected tastes I had in India.” For the Mangalorean fish meal, he wrote, “Definitely, it is one of the meals that impressed me the most.”

Both the videos have garnered love from Internet users, as evident in the comments. “Finally someone trying other Indian food instead of butter chicken or naan”, a user wrote, while another added, “Agree with everything but gulab jamun should be at least 9”.
“Please try Mughlai cuisine as well you are gonna love it,” a comment read.
“I am sure you got a very bad paan because paan is the best,” wrote a person.
