Santokh Singh Khela, the mastermind behind the AI 112 bombing plot, was seen outside a gurdwara in Canada, distributing pamphlets and asking people to attend the July 28 referendum at Calgary City Hall, according to a video exclusively accessed by News18.
Khela was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1987 for the conspiracy to commit mass murder by blowing up Air India (AI) flight 112, which originated at the JFK airport in the US. The sentence was later overturned. Khela is also the organiser for the Khalistan referendum being conducted by Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) at Dashmesh Gurdwara. SFJ is a banned pro-Khalistan group led by terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
Another concern is the venue. Calgary mayor Jyoti Gondek has close ties to the Dashmesh Gurdwara. Her father was an executive of the most influential Khalistani organization in the world: The World Sikh Organization of Canada (WSO). She has also attended events of Dashmesh Gurdwara where Khalistani Babbar Khalsa terrorists were glorified as martyrs.
According to top intelligence sources, Calgary mayor’s support has turned Calgary, Alberta, into a preferred city for foreign organisations seeking to glorify terrorists and terrorism. The July 28 event is going to be dedicated to Talwinder Singh Parmar, the co-conspirator of Air India Bombings.
Sources said: “Calgary Mayor, World Sikh Organisation, Sikhs For Justice and Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) are linked. Whatever Canadian PM Justin Trudeau says, his government is promoting these kind of anti-India sentiments and not taking action against anyone. Now Trudeau should reply why Khela was distributing pamphlets for the July 28 Referendum event.”
