Watch: Israeli Military Takes Out Hamas Militants in Gaza in Real Life 'Call of Duty' Gunfight
The video footage of the combat, uploaded on social media, begins with members of the IDF’s 101st Battalion Combat Team ducking from gunfire in a Gaza building

The Israeli military killed two Hamas militants during a close combat that broke out inside a building in southern Gaza, according to a newly released video.

The video footage of the combat, which appears to be straight out of a “Call of Duty” game, begins with members of the IDF’s 101st Battalion Combat Team evading gunfire in a building in southern Gaza’s largest city.

Hamas operatives reportedly opened fire from several buildings where the Israeli military was operating. The paratroopers were called in airstrikes and tank shelling against the buildings, killing several gunmen.

Khan Younis

Hundreds of people have been killed in recent days as the Israeli offensive’s focus shifts to the southern city of Khan Younis and built-up refugee camps in central Gaza. Khan Younis remains a hotbed in the Israel-Hamas war as the Israeli military looks to gain “operational control” in the southern half of the Palestinian territory. Gunfire from the stairway sprayed the room where Israeli troops were gathered, miraculously, one soldier skillfully avoided the volley that erupted past the doorway.

As the soldier equipped with a bodycam retreated, an explosive was thrown into the room, prompting Israeli fighters to seek cover. Following another sequence of gunfire and explosions on the second floor, multiple members of the combat team were observed shooting down the stairs before the battle concluded. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that seven soldiers were wounded in the battle, and one K-9 unit that was probing the building was killed, the New York Post reported.

Meanwhile, Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon killed at least four members of the militant group Hezbollah members, a day after a similar attack killed a commander with the militant Hezbollah group. Israel claimed it killed Ali Hussein Barji, who it said was in charge of Hezbollah’s drones in the south, but a Hezbollah official, as per The Associated Press, said he was only a fighter.

Hamas’ October 7 attack from Gaza into southern Israel triggered the war and killed around 1,200 people, and militants took some 250 others hostage. Israel’s air, ground and sea assault in Gaza has killed more than 23,000 people, according to the Health Ministry in the Hamas-ruled territory.
