Kareena Kapoor is often photographed by paparazzi, as are her kids, Taimur and Jeh. Taimur has been in the spotlight since birth. Unlike many Bollywood stars, Kareena doesn’t hide her kids’ faces from photographers, but she has time and again mentioned that her sons don’t enjoy being photographed. In a recent interview with Filme Shilmy, Kareena shared that both Taimur and Jeh take after their father, Saif Ali Khan. She said, “They are both quite like Saif. Jeh just looks like me but he has Saif’s naughtiness and Tim has Saif’s sense of humour but he’s a bit more reserved, like he doesn’t like being clicked, more like his father. Jeh’s more like his… like me. I mean in terms of look and a little more vibe, but his naughtiness comes from Saif.”
Kareena is often asked about the paparazzi culture in India, especially regarding photographers clicking pictures of celebrity kids from a young age. When asked about this at Express Adda in 2023, Kareena mentioned that she and Saif chose not to hide their kids from photographers because they thought it could have a negative impact.
“He (Taimur) was quite smart because he knew that we were actors, as I had told him we were in the movies. And he just turned around and told me, ‘But I am not famous. Why are they clicking my picture?’ But he knows that he’s not famous and he doesn’t like it,” she said.
Kareena and Saif welcomed Taimur in 2016 and Jeh in 2021. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently awaiting the release of her next Crew. She will be seen sharing screen space with Kriti Sanon and Tabu. Saif Ali Khan is currently shooting for his upcoming Telugu film Devara, alongside Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
