Barcelona: Barcelona say Spain midfielder Sergio Busquets has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him at the Catalan club through 2019.
They add that the contract will include an option for an additional year. Busquets is scheduled to sign the deal on Friday.
The 26-year-old holding midfielder debuted for Barcelona's first team in 2008. He has since made 313 appearances and helped the club win 16 trophies, including two Champions League titles.
Busquets has also helped Spain win the World Cup and European Championship.
