How to Avoid a PayPal Limitation
How to Avoid a PayPal Limitation
PayPal limits accounts for various reasons and certain activity based on the user. Many users do not know what causes them, here are various steps to avoid triggering a limitation.
Steps

Use unique information.

Avoid using information that is similar to someone you know. Using the same personal info as your friends, family or another user can cause PayPal to limit your account.

Use a payment method that matches your identity.

Your sign-up information should match your banking info. Verify your account using a credit or prepaid card and bank account that matches the information that you signed up under.

Connect to PayPal directly.

Avoid using proxies, Tor browser, IPs from another country, or public Wi-Fi areas to sign into the account. If you must use a VPN (Virtual Private Network), use a dedicated VPN source.

Keep your buyers happy.

Avoid having charge backs and disputes from your buyers. This will trigger a limitation if you have too many of them.

Wait before transferring funds to other users.

Do not transfer funds immediately to bank or to another PayPal user when first receiving the funds. PayPal might think the transaction is fraud.

Don't change your account information too much.

Avoid frequently changing information on the account such as bank accounts or credit cards. Keep the same accounts connected to PayPal when possible.

Don't use E-trade as your bank.

Use any bank that isn't E-trade. E-trade has been known to cause limitations.

What's your reaction?
