Speaking in English gives you the blues? A course in spoken English will not only build up your English speaking skills but also your confidence. For this, one can now head over to the Vivekananda Institute of Languages because, as a part of educational and cultural activities, a course in Spoken English will be conducted, starting June 1. However, there are some eligibility criteria that are required to be able to apply for the aforementioned course. For starters, the student should be an SSC pass out. Secondly, students who apply should be above 17 years of age, maximum limit being 50 years.Thirdly, foreigners are not eligible for the course. And, since this is a spoken english course, preference will be given to students who have scored less marks in English at SSC level. Interested applicants must submit a photocopy of the SSC memorandum of marks, a photo identification proof (dirver’s license, voter ID), two recent passport size pictures along with the application form, which will cost `100. Candidates must ensure that they visit the institute themselves to submit the aforementioned documents along with the application form. Application forms will be available at Ramakrishna Math from May 18 to 20, 8 am to 5 pm.
